Hi,

I find that I have lower back/bum tenderness since driving my soarer.

I believe it would be better if i was higher in my seat so my lap wasn't so acute, and by that a more natural curve in my lower back would be possible. I would also prefer to be about an inch further back than I can presently get.

Has anyone had similar issues? Any thoughts or fixes?

A custom cushion might do the trick as that would make me higher and perhaps lessen the need that I feel like I want to be further back. Or maybe it would place me closer and increase my want for extra room.

Alternatively, maybe a seat which is higher yet thinner at the back or more able to be shifted back along the rails?

Your profile says you have no Soarer. Are you talking about a TT or V8? What type of seats?

Jzz31. Non leather. Non bucket. Just pretty low and not much dip.

Allan, better than Honda spare parts.

On and 1994 seats if that makes any difference Peter.

I'm 180cm's tall and around 90kg's and I'd have to say the Soarer seats are some of the most comfortable I've sat in. Of course being a very average height probably helps.

My soarer seats have more adjustments than most cars ive driven. I have a uzz31. But I thought all models had the same electric seats. with lumbar etc.

I would suggest Tom you have them adjusted wrong. It takes me ages to find that sweet spot between short term and long term comfort.

Uzz31 leather and I find the seat itself very comfortable, but:
I have a different problem.
I'm too tall for this fantastic car.
If the sun roof was not there lowering the trim I'd have the extra head room enough to make it comfortable.
I'm looking at the seat to see if these's some way of lowering it on the rails or lowering the actual rails.
Also I'd like to be able to extend the steering wheel back a bit more than the adjustment will allow.
Anyone messed with this stuff before?
