Hi guys,I was thinking about the height of the supra seats in the soarer. Since the both seats bolt into the same car... Can we use the soarer seat rails and put them on the supra seats to increase the height?

I'm 6'2" in the old language.
My soarer seats are a tiny bit to high.
I had a sit in Supra seats and I get the impression the Supra is a fair bit smaller car than than the Soarer.
The seats also seem to have a smaller form than Soarer seats.
I think the Soarer has beautiful seats so I'm looking into lowering the mounts somehow.
I only need a little bit and I'll be comfortable.
Posted before regarding this and got no answers.
Any one messed with the seat mounts/rails?
If so any possibility of reducing height that you could see?

As the seatbelt mount is integrated into the seat base any changes to the mounting is a critical area.

In New Zealand that requires xray certification of the mounts. I ended up putting new stalk mounts into the gearbox tunnel as they had a non weld process that was certifiable.

Oh Sheiza!
So am not looking at re engineering the car to get an extra inch out of the seat. Next port of call is the seat it's self.
Maybe I can get a bit out of the mechanical system that raises and lowers.

I have a few questions about the supra seats as I'm going to have a crack at a hill climb in a few weeks and have the same issue with head clearance so I am after at least the drivers supra seat if anyone on here has one lying around. Are there different spec seats, ie leather/fapric, elec/non elec, can electric ones be connected to the soarer wiring. Would prefer electric/leather if that exists.
