Hello all i had the problem of a non retracting seatbelt, so i went out and bought myself a second hand unit. I have Removed the rear seats, top and lower passenger side trim (side of seatbelt requiring replacement) And have pryed the parcel shelf high enough to remove the top bolt of the seatbelt, my main problem now is removing the inassescible bottom bolt! Does anyone know how this is asscessed? Is it through the boot? Im really stumped on this. Also is there a certain way in which the seatbelt should be installed for it to extend correctly as holding it hand i can not extend it? Do i have serious problems? Thanks for the help guys.

If the rear seats are out then you should be able to get to the bottom bolts no problem at all! Unless you are talking about the front seat belts?
I have removed front and rear countless times, the auto lock is very sensitive and will not extend easily in your hand.. Once it's bolted in it should be fine.

Hello thanks for the reply but i am still having some problems with this. It appears that the second bolt i need to undo is located in the boot behind the fuel tank on the top left, does this sound right? I will post some pictures to let you know what im talking about, cheers.

Doesn't have to completely come out, just lift up the corner around the seat belt. The bolt that fastens the belt assembly too the car is under the parcel shelf trim, should only be one 15mm.

I ended up removing all 4 rear side trims which gave easy access to the assembly, as you said Jesse, just one bolt and seat belts came out.
The belts I bought came with a centre one as well, but looks like the holes you filled in with body filler during compliance...would have looked messy anyway.
