Any way I can use a sports steering heel and still keep the factory cruise stalk in the same location?

I've seen a few pics with soarers with sports wheels fitted but none seem to have the cruise control fitted.

I'm looking at running either a Momo or Sparco flat bottom suede wheel, don't want to use a factory type wheel.

Is the cruise stalk attached to the wheel or the column?

A few years ago Gregg did a run of boss kits that accepted the factory cruise control stalk.

Either wait until one of us decides to sell (not happening here!) or you might have to get something custom made.

The other option is to buy a boss kit from ebay - they use buttons instead of the stalk.

Just beware of aftermarket wheel sizes being illegal .

Julian..I'm not too sure, but flat bottom steering wheels may not pass for rego here in NSW.A mate of mine was knocked back on that style of steering wheel not long ago.

I found someone who is selling them on eBay but said they were over $150. A lot more than I'm really willing to pay. I phoned my supplier today and they only have a listing for 93 on, but I think that's for airbag and mine doesn't have an airbag. If the price is ok and the cruise stalk is the same ill adapt that one.

Rego checks aren't a massive issue for me, and I have about 20 sports wheels in my shed I can swap over if someone gets fussy. I like the flat bottom wheel style, I'm in a small town so it's a small risk of being caught. I'm a sensible bloke anyway, lol

I know it's been a while since last post,but..
I got my boss kit at a local parts shop. Tried a few before we got it right, but there is one available on the market that has the circuit plate and connection plug to acommodate cruise. I paid $80. If I pull the wheel off, ill try an get a part number up.

the HKB boss kit with cruise buttons on the top is what your after, they are pretty pricey though as they are getting rather rare for the Soarer.

No that's not really what I want. I use cruise fairly regularly and the buttons are a pain. I want a boss kit to put the factory cruise stalk directly onto. If you can let me know the brand and part number it would be awesome Bernie.
