I am new to the soarer thing and as I only had one key and fob I decided to get a spare key. I have opened the car with the old key and new. I cannot start the car with either key and one time the alarm went off when I opened the boot with key when the car was locked. I am unsure if I am doing something wrong or if there is a fault with the locking system.

Hi, the alarm going off when you open the boot should be ok when the car is locked. Not being able to start the car is a big problem. I know there is a way to reset you key fob for the immobilizer, but I cant remember how to do it. If I find it again I'll get back to you.
