I had a problem with my drivers side window.
The plastic part that slides along the rail and moves the glass had broken.
The regulator motor was still working so i thought no problems ill do a repair job on the plastic part and away i go...

well it worked but as soon as i went to wind the window up to the top it re-broke itself and from what i can tell its because the regulator is pulling it too far along its track both on the top and on the bottom cycles.

is there anyway to limit the regulators travel?

any suggestions as to what i can do?

Its a 94 UZZ31 btw, i was reading about the tracks being different sizes for different years? could it be that it has the wrong one installed?
