I just changed the auto nob on my celsior, the old one was all peeled and awful, so i took the whole thing out, re-attached the wiring for the overdrive, put it all back together, crawled under the car re-bolted the shifter, was basically feeling very proud of myself after just a couple of hours work. all was well in the world, then..

i tried to turn off the car and it won't, it's no longer recognising "PARK" so it won't move when i put my foot on the brake either, i'm having to use that red button to change gear and i've had to unplug the sensor so i can turn the car off.

i've spent another couple of hours trying to see whats wrong and i've got nothing!!
