Hi, I am having trouble removing the steering wheel on my uzz30, I read the tutorial on steering wheel removal and when I removed the 2 small covers on the back of the steering wheel it looked nothing like the pictures in the tutorial, is there anybody who may have had the same problem, or anybody who may be able to help. thanks in advance.

No peter, I don't have a mobile phone, I'm one of the strange ones, but when I look in behind the steering wheel there are two screws on either side, I have not tried to undo these until I sought further advice, the steering wheel that is on the car has brackets on both sides for the cruise control, making me believe that the original steering wheel has been replaced by the previous owner, what I might try is undoing those screws because they are the only thing that looks like they might release the horn button and the airbag

You need to undo the two screws until you can push the steel bracket of the retaining clips, then you will be able to pull the horn pad of the steering wheel. If you started with the steering wheel in the straight ahead position, you will see 2 connectors at the top, one yellow for the air bag and one black for the steering wheel controls. Unplug and undo the steering wheel centre bolt, use removal tool. Job done

Thank you Jan, once again the Soarer Central members have helped me out of a troublesome situation.
