Howdy all, just a quick Q someone might know the answer to... As nice as the electric seats are, they aren't the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in so I am looking to replace them. As (last time I checked and as far as I'm aware) the stock seat has the rails built into them I'll be needing new rails as well. So, does anyone know if aftermarket rails go straight into a Soarer, do they need modifiying or do I need custom rails?

We've got Recaros in Denise's car and the guy who fitted the seats built up the base frames to suit. Ideally if you go that route though you'd need to get an "Engineers Certificate" for legal/insurance purposes.

I had BRIDE seats and yes, they bolt right into the car. The wires from the stock seats were just left in there and caused no problems. They do have rails
