I am just about to replace my rear view mirror with a LCD one. Is it difficult to remove the old mirror or does it come off easily with heating up etc.? What is the best "glue" to mount the new one?

glue??? err... you leave it stuck to the glass... the mirror slides into place into the bracket mounted on the glass... where are you planning to connect up the LCD's power wire??

All it needs is 12v IGN power. I wouldn't be surprised if that plug was in all looms. Of course that part of the loom my not be fitted in pov packs, don't know.

Ok, I installed the LCD mirror today. Could not find any 12V IGN wire under the roof lining, so I ran a cable through the lining down and the side trims down to the fuse box. Wasn't much work at all cause I did not have to remove the trims...
