As per thread title, I'm looking for some dash clips like we have on the Soarer- the female part.

I've just obtained a roof console from a Ford Explorer which I want to fit to the Wizard. There are two pre-fitted male wedge push clips, I'd like to get some females so get the fitting underway.

This console is nifty- it has a compass and outside temperature display (needs the sensor- that will be the hard part!) as well as map lights (the Wizard's are in the mirror and are garbage). The compass works already (will need to be calibrated for magnetic deviation) and the temp will even compensate for wind chill from speed via a connection to the speedo wire (at least on a Ford!!).

As it's from a sunroof model it has the switch which might be usable for driving lights or something which uses a lot of current- the switch and wiring are heavy duty due no doubt to the load of a sunroof motor.

It would help to search for these clips if I knew what their proper name was!

Cheers
