Well I do have a V8 so chrome gauges on the bonnet wouldn't be too out of place

Muzzy, that's true about not having time to look but I'd get gauges which have a warning LED and/or the peak recall as Manny said.

I know you said you didnt want them on the a-pillar, but thought id include a pic of mine, it doesnt really get in the way once you get used to it, i mean the a-pillars are so big anyway lol

That actually looks OK - better than mounting them in the wood directly.

Im not really too sure what the exact cost of my gauge pod was,

as i got a full install done *custom sub box, amps mounted above fuel tank out of the way, all wiring and then the GAuge fitted with the chrome bezel.

All up that was only $440 !!! At WOW sight and sound in Annerly BNE *go see Nick or Dwayne !

but apparently the gauge install was relativly easy according to the guy who did it.

Jeff, where did you get the A pillar pod from? I have been looking for one for a while now and can't find one. Or did you custom make it?

It was on the car when i got it, I can ask the guy i bought it off where he got it, as when it was imported from japan the boost gauge was glued (!) to the steering column.

only the top pic is my car, and it didnt cost me a thing, factory black trim, and the rsm and 2din headunit were in it when i bought it. the only modification ive done to the interior is the addition of a hello kitty cup holder in the passengers side middle vent :-)
But i would say that the interior in the bottom pics would have cost a pretty penny! i think its an alpine demo car, has a lot of nice gear in it!

Yeah, they look nice Daniel, but what are you going to do to fill the gap below?

I've told you... you should have got a 1.5din pocket! :-)
