Has anyone had a drivers seat that moves just a little (probably only a few mm forward or backward) under heavy braking & or heavy acceleration? Mine moves a little & is getting worse not to mention just being generally irritating so I want it fixed.

Any advise appreciated.

Cheers Carlos

Hmmm, I seems to have a similar issue. When I put my foot down hard, the drivers seat seems to rock back a couple of degrees.

And I thought that I was the only one with these weird types of problems?!?

Carl, it has been covered somewhere in the forum previously.

I did have the same drama. While I was installing my stereo, I routed the wires under the carpet which saw me remove the driver seat out of the car. I reinstalled it and really tightened those bolts and that fixed the issue.

So you may just need to give them a good tighten, just make sure you don't thread them.

I have this problem as well. My solution is to eventually replace them with some electric ones >=D

I have electric ones and have the same issue but it dosn't really worry me it only moves a tiny bit.
Haven't tried the bolts but i'd say that would fix it.

Looks like we've all got the same "drunken seat" bug

I hate it when you flip backwards and end up in the back seat!

Although I havnt hear do this problem in Soarers before, I have heard of welds breaking on seat brackets, perhaps try tightning the seats. If its still faulty, pull them out and look have a good look underneath.
