Can anyone tell me how to take the centre consol out??
So far i have just got the surrounding bit of the auto lever off and taken out the few screws that sit around that and can't see any more that i have to unscrew. I gave it a little pull but it wasn't budging and don't want to break it..

How do I take the back seat out??
Need to know how I get the back seat out as all the seats are coming out soon to get recovered. This is the starting process of the modding. Doing the easy stuff first, things to make it look prettier.

Does anyone know any importers in Brisbane that I can get reasonable priced door trims off that are in good condition?
The first time I took my car into toyota they took the door trim off for some reason and broke it, and when they put it back on broke it even more and I also can't even open my door from the outside now..not happy!

The A/C Screen has ink run, or something alike wrong with it, can this be fixed or do I need a new one??

Also my revision mirror is like it to. When you jump in on a warm day it has dark blotchy spots on the left side of it??

Sorry if this is in the wrong section BUT I need a new Sunroof assembly, does anyone know any importers also in brissy area or close to me that could get a working one for me??
I had a truck come flying past me and ran me off the road. I was out bush seeing a friend (roads are way to skinny out there, for example oversize car, semi "hmm thats not oversize", get around the corner "no but that is" thin road, no where to go sitting on prob 110klms had to quickly hit the brakes and pull off onto DIRT!) and yeah in the event it broke the sunroof assembly too don't ask me how it was just broken afterwards.

Have a look in the How-to section. Removing the Head Unit.

I don't want to take the head unit out, plus its not the standard it should just slip off straight over it.

The first half of the tutorial is about removing the centre console though. :-)

The back seat squab (where your butt goes) pulls up at the front, then slides forward and out.

This exposes 3 bolts along the bottom of the back rest. remove them, then lift up a bit to unhook and lift it away.

Door trims, pot luck with s/h or new from Toyota $$.

Outside door handle not opening - might be this (in the How-To again).

Bleeding LCD A/C screens can't be fixed, so it needs to be replaced. Usually the mirror is fine once it cools a little, probably not worth worrying about.

Don't wind down your window or you'll smash up the inside like I did. In the end I could'nt open from the inside or outside and Toyota killed my door trim to get the door open $$$$.
I'd fix that one first, Pen's tutorial is easy to follow. Have a look yourself to see if that plastic clip thingy is buggered. Hopefully it's just popped off

Hi Kimberly I have a sunroof assembly $150 for it, and if its not working I will give you your money back.

I am in Brissie. It comes with a spare roof lining, in very good condition.

Also take a photo of your door trims, did they rip the vinyl? (leather). If not you can repair the trims a little bit. Best to ignore cracks at the speakers...they are too far gone!

the lights keep falling outta the doors it annoys the crap outta me not too worried about the cracks cause u can hardly see them but when they put the drivers side trim back on they tightened it up to much and ad the back on the window button surroundings there is a huge chuck outta it like i can stick 2 fingers down there and touch the electricals.

to bad about the window they pulled the door trim off because it was already smashed, but it was working perfectly fine when i dropped it off to them it would lock properly and open properly inside and out, since they have taken the trim off it has worked from outside and since they put it back on sitll doesn't work...they reakon they did not touch it, i said well it was working when i dropped it off in the first place, so they said i pay for the part they'll put it in and that for nothing..so in other words they no they broke it and they WIll be paying for it, they know im going to make them to every time i ring which is not often like once or 2 a week..ohh he's busy he will ring you back ALL THE TIME! and never rings back
