Yeah mate, i'm pretty happy with it! Just blew another diff though, so i'm getting an LSD built at the moment. But that's pretty much all that's going to happen to it - mortgage kinda makes everything very tight!

So did you just trim the bars inside the stock bumper and add mesh?

Little more than that Scott.
I had the splitters cut out, then all the gaps it left and all holes welded and filled and smoothed.
Then full respray including lip, then yes added mesh.
The number plate is mounted on some brackets i made of aluminium bar.

Sorry not to be more clear, I knew that it wasn't just a hack job, looking at the car you can tell everything is done right.

Hahaha, Looking at the post I guess it does look like I asked if it was just hacked together... not what I meant.

No worries Scott, i didn't think that's what you meant!
In hindsight, it probably only cost me a little less than a full aftermarket bumper, but it's unique and it's plastic and it FITS like it should!

Absolutely, I like it better than most aftermarket option as well.

Luckily in Canada we don't need a front license plate so the front can be clean.

I'm thinking that doing something similar with black mesh on a white soarer may look good.

Oh, that sucks for us! It looks awesome without the front plate! I spoke to the authorities here, but there's no way we can't have a front plate! Has to be attached to the bumper too. I even think where it is now is a bit sus, but haven't had any unwanted attention yet!
