Over here in SA now, they are coaching applicants on how to pass the tests. Things like what road signs mean. So they can pass without actually being able to read English.

He's probably one of those guys who looks in his rear-view mirror when he's checking his make-up so he didn't see. No-one who stopped to help you caught his license plate?

Almost the same thing happened to me. It was a taxi driver. He blind turned through a no-right-turn straight into me and my housemate. TL1000R and GSXR600 both totalled. Luckily a bystander got pissed off and took the taxi driver's keys. Cops were there minutes later, all taken care of. Sore for a long time.
Glad you're OK. It can be fixed, you sometimes can't.

Holy crp Sean when did this happen? Where abouts in town?
Yeah, there are a lot of those drivers here. Last winter with about 6 inches of fresh snow down I was just about to NAIT, my college, and some guy in a corolla came from a merge lane with a yield sign with no shoulder check no glance in case anyone was coming, i had to slide the my old van sideways to not hit him and when i looked down the side mirror we were still only about 3 inches apart as we were sliding.
You just can't expect what some of these morons will do.

Yeah, I'm glad it wasn't worse. And no, I don't think anyone caught the plate, the other vehicles were pretty far back. I hope someone did, but I coulnd't ask because I was in the ambulance getting checked out.
And yeah, that's crazy that someone turned into you. That crap happens all the time, but I just never figured it would be me, because I am a pretty cautious driver. Sometimes just catches up with you though.
I'm now a statistic haha. 21 year old motorcyclist. Except I've been riding for 4 years.
