Mmmm, Lately Ive found the ROH Fury mags to be quite attractive - I say go for it! Peter Ns UZZ30 with 17" ROH Furys is superb from the pictures & videos Ive seen.

What I like most of all about those mags in they dont look too 'after market-ish' nor too standard. Their just right! :-)

I personally like spoke wheels. But i hate wheels with centre caps. Big no no for me.

Sorry for the hi jack but can people post wheel pics on their cars.

I am interested in buying a set in the not too distant future.

In my humble opinion, don't get Furys. Everyone has has them, especially Commodore drivers!

I reckon anything different will look good, most wheels look pretty nice on a Soarer, as long as it matches the paint job.

Here you go, my soarer when it had 19" ROH Furys. But on that note, they were the worst rims ever. Poorly built, they use a very soft metal and crack very easily. I repaired my rims 6 times, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY THESE RIMS.

Steven, evidence is that it's only the larger wheel sizes that have any problems. I have had my 17" Fury's for 3.5 years and done track days with NO evidence of cracking at all.

Possibly too, if you don't have the correct spigot rings fitted, the added stress to the wheels could cause problems.

16" ROH wheels on my Rotor with 50 profile rubber. Drags, Track days, drift days (well...at least I tried to drift), and about 20 000 hard kilometres in NSW and the NT(no speed limit yippee!). Cannot complain about the quality or performance of my wheels.

Just another random noob question but what would 17's be like on a TT. I am after some new wheels but i dont want to go bigger than 17's because of the 2 inch difference law. Would they look too puny?

Also how much would a set of 4 tyres go for on 17's. I know it varies heaps but some of my mates with 19's pay way more for 1 tyre than I pay for a set of 4.

17's are generally considered to be a good size for the Soarer. Look good without too much ride quality trade-offs.

Peter: Yeah its been discussed before on the forum about my previous rims, but I'm sorry, I still wont be recommending ROH rims to anyone, I know that may sound harsh, but ROH in general and they way they delt with me, I'm sorry I was not a happy camper by the end of it, so I done the next best thing and got rid of them, couldnt be happier with my new rims, not 1 issue (see my profile)

Rob: Good question, I asked you ages ago as well and you had no idea, I know your TT had the same lip.

I have to admit though the Furys makes my car look good, 19" was a good size, but it wasn't meant to be.

Bill, you have a TT and they come stock with 16" wheels, so you can legally run 18" rims on the street.

Check your tyre placard on the inside of your drivers door, it will reveal all.

Good luck.

Yeh I know it is 16 meaning 18inch is legal but I want to stay within the boundary instead of on the limit.
