I saw the car at TNT yesterday (for some reason it's still there Gregg?) sitting on the back of a truck. Looked very nice indeed. I got a lil scared by the numberplates too... had no idea what was under the bonnet.

Well it was in Adelaide this morning so it must have got away finally... Still due on the 31st...
Don't get confused with the above engine bay pic - that's NOT what I'm getting

Yes and no !!!
Yes it arrived....but there was a problem... It wouldn't start!!!
Lots of calls later, blah blah and it's now with Joe who suspects the Haltech has either died, lost config or similar. Possibly due to incorrect jump starting by the TNT guys....I'm working through the process and getting confirmation first before launching into claiming etc etc....Bottom-line is it was dropped off working and it arrived not working...
Bit of a but that's Murphey's law for you... no point crying over split milk...
Will let you know when it's sorted and I can actually drive the thing!!

TNT are so dodgy, a mate of mine just bought a VL turbo from melbourne which he sent up via TNT, they dropped the car off the trailor, mind you original VL turbo with only 50,000kms original off a old bloke

Thought I'd update this thread with what happened...
Fortunately the Haltech etc is all OK. It turned out that the battery was so cactus that it was drawing the current from the booster to recharge itself and leaving little current left over to run everything else properly!!
A new battery went in and it attempted to start and then died. The plugs were removed and found to be totally fuel soaked (from all the attempts at starting with no spark). These were swapped out and she all came to life. So that was positive that it wasn't anything serious.
It does however still have a couple of issues. It seems to die after a couple of seconds after starting unless you pep the accelerator and then its alright (seems random but obviously haven't had it long enough to determine a pattern)...
It's also throwing up a jap code so I need to check it against the list...
Finally I'm sus about the tune as I think it should be doing a lot more at the mid/top end but perhaps my TT has spoiled me. We'll see...
I started a separate thread to discuss my initial comparison between the two...
So TNT are off the hook although I still wasn't happy with the way they were attempting to jump it...
