It's only 4 weeks, unlikely to deteriorate much in that time. If you need the alarm on, then a charger might be a good idea, you could probably run the cords up from under the car if the bonnet won't shut with the cables in place.
Make sure it's a smart trickle charger type, and be aware that with the bonnet shut, bubbling in the acid could spit acid out the vents (which should be removed), which could then eat the bonnet lining etc.
I once had a battery on charge on the floor and put a sacrificial wet rag across the vents. When I went to remove it, it was totally mush, but at least acid hadn't spat all over the place. I had to remove it very carefully though due to the disintegration. Some sort of plastic acid proof cover might be better.
Or just leave it, get the mate to start and run it for 20 minutes after 2 weeks, then you will be back 2 weeks after that.

No need to arm the car when it's inside your garage under lock and key.
If this is not the case then get someone to take it for a drive once a week for about 20 mins. That should do it. What I did before I got the trickle charger. The trrrrickle charger works better though.

Why not just remove the battery from the car and leave it on the floor? ECU shouldn't mind a reset...and I'm sure you can reprogram the stations into your stereo
