My friend has a 1JZ single in his AE86... with a ford 8.8in rear end, tubbed, caged, and around 800whp


Ill get pics soon. He hasn't run it yet at the track, but we are expecting 8s

How does it fit in the Sprinter? I always thought it'd be way too long. I guess if its a drag car its not really a problem.

speaking of conversions...while not entirely a 1jz conversion, i am planning to put a 1uzfe into a HG holden station wagon. and then put twin turbo's on it.
apparently the 1jz conversions are more demanding than nissan's, as the exhaust etc is on the steering side? ive heard....

thats been done hasn't it? seen something similar in a ZOOM or something. blown 1uz in a beemer. looked alright. old holdens look great, newer toyota's go great. should be something everyone wants to do, toyota engines in other cars. cross breeding for the future!
