I really hate it when first timers get into my car and root around with my headunit settings, drives me crazy, I have my sound set up perfectly then jerks come along when I'm looking the other way and adjust all the settings and make the stereo sound crap.
What do people do in your car that annoys you? Eg - Dirty shoes, eating or constantly pressing buttons

all three.
People who throw stuff in the back and scuff the roof/seat/trim. Also people who try to yank the passanger seat forward before realising its motorised.

Lol Hayden, Do you expect people to get in your car for the first time and know that the seats are motorised ? Have some patience !
Its funny tho, nearly everyone who gets into my car and wants to move the seat usually ask first. I've never had anyone jump in my car and play with my stereo settings, most they've done is change the song or CD which doesn't bother me. I always ask people to dust their feet before getting in and hasn't taken them long to learn and also never let people sit in the back or eat/drink/smoke in my car.

Most of my passengers dare not touch anything. However, I was 'got' when trying to use the Nav system and, after much frustration re-spelling the street name trying to find it, discovered that one of my son's mates had set the system for Western Australia.
Most annoying habit is ripping frantically at the door handle before I get the chance to unlock it for them.
Re-reading what I just wrote, may I add that it is a turn of phrase and has nothing at all to do with my driving.

I hate it when people enter the TT passenger's side to get to the back seats and then scuffle over to the driver's side. This can cause them to break the damn seat belt buckles in the rear seats, and possibly scratch my leather. This happened in my V8 and none of my friends have owned up to it so far..
Never had a problem with people playing with my head unit settings, although I've had a few mates who keep telling me to change songs since they didn't want to listen to them. Hey, it's my car. Don't like the music? WALK.

I _REALLY_ hate it when i drive my parents in my car.
I have no quivells in saying they are not the slimmest pair around. When mum/dad grab the handles above the windows to get out the first thing i think of is that handle breaking and me going nuts trying to replace it!

Annoying passenger trait: I set off from the traffic lights, give it a bit of stick then grab second. (BOV sounds). Give it a bit of stick then grab third (BOV sounds). PASSENGER: Stop doing that! ME: What? PASSENGER: Making that sound, it's annoying
This automatic door locking feature is absent on my car. Is this the case on all factory manuals or is mine just broken like everything else on my car?
Oh, and sh|t that annoys me is people getting comfortable and putting their legs up everywhere, like on the dash, or if they sit in the back on the seat or the centre storage bin etc... sit straight you bastards!! People telling me to turn the music down! People that get frightened when I boot it and make it bloody obvious! People eating in my car, bringing in smelly crap in my car (like fresh pizza, or spraying crap), when people leave the floor mats all crooked when they get out etc etc etc.

Farting and not telling you until it's too late....
I must admit though in my younger days I did the same thing to a mate after a massive night out. We were both feeling really seedy and decided to grab some greasy Chicken Treat to reline the stomach. We were in his car and I unfortunately let off something so incredibly rancid that he barely got the window open before throwing up... In fact it was so bad it made me gag for fresh air myself! It's pretty bad when you can't handle your own....
I was quite impressed to make such an impact - one of my finest achievements....

I dont know how it happens, but EVERY time I have passengers in the back seat, those little plastic buckle surrounds end up in all sorts of places OTHER than in the recess in the seat where they're sposed to be. I dutifully put them back the next morning, and then lo and behold, next time I play taxi for the night, they've relocated again.
If I've got a female in the car who's not been a passenger before (ie giving someone a lift home etc) I tend to warn them about the autolock feature
I also fold the mirrors in just out of habit when I park - that gets all sorts of comments from passengers - "wow"; "why"; "wanker."...etc
I hate having to move my drivers seat around when I have passengers in the back seat too...it always seems like I've just managed to get it back to that "perfect" position after several days adjustment afterwards, when I end up having to move it again.
Maybe I should just stop being skipper so often...considering I'm the only one of my mates without a 4-door family car, it IS a bit ridiculous that we keep piling 4 or 5 people into mine

I don't think any of my passengers have ever touched my stereo, or anything else for that matter.
If ANYBODY put their feet on my dash, my fist would encounter their temple rather quickly. Things would probably deteriorate from that point.
My only peeve is if my missus uses my car for whatever reason (very rare occurance) she somehow always manages to leave the floor mat out of position. For the life of me I don't know how she does it. Must be a girl thing.

Haha I can relate.
"Yeah it's a car from Japan, watch this." *Mirrors move* "OMG you can move the mirrors!" "Yeah it's got 250 horsepower and..." "Wait, the mirrors move." "Yeah twin turbo six cylinder, great eng..." "The mirrors move!"

People, people, you need to train your friends. All of ours let us open and close the doors for them so they don't scratch anything, sit very still and don't touch anything. I don't like anyone smoking AROUND our car, so there is no way in hell that anyone is going to smoke IN it. And that isn't us just being anal either, they just know how much pride we take in the car and how much time Perry spends cleaning it.
