EVERY time I have passengers in the back seat, those little plastic buckle surrounds end up in all sorts of places

This is what I meant in my first post in this thread. Yours moves around because they've been broken by some fat ass who sat in the middle and broke the clips. Mine haven't broken yet, so they never move. But I am ALWAYS telling people who sit in the back of my car to watch out for them. Pain in the ass to replace..

Yeah Vinh one of mine is broken too. I Hate moving it back into place.

Shane im with ya finding the perfect seating position, then some friends need a lift and i lose my perfect seating position.

I hate people who yank on the passenger door. When its locked. Its bound to break soon. My G/F and Most of my mates know by now to unlock the door before they open it.

Was quite funny the 1st time i took my G/F in my car, The doors autolocked as they do. Was funny explaining it to her.

Maurice theres only one mate who messes around with my stereo settings. Can be annoying at times but he generally puts them back to where they were.

Ive also found now my car is Manual that when friends try to find a song they like there hands get in the way when i need to go to 1st gear and 3rd gear. I have a remote for the CD player. So i tell them use this lol.

I've got my iPod set up with the iTrip FM transmitter , play all of my tunes using that, so we just end up passing that around the car when passengers request a change of song

The worst is definitely the pulling on the handle of the locked door. Nobody plays with my stereo, except maybe volume occasionally. And I will never adjust my seat for people in the back. I figure it's more important for me to be in a comfortable driving position for safety.

LOL ! My mate has 1 of these and for 2 months he would only have every Nirvana song playing through it as his girlfriend is a big Nirvana fan. She noticed it was through a Radio station and he was like "yeah, I found this radio station that only plays Nirvana" she was ecstatic and thats all she would listen to when in his car. She then found out after she'd tried setting the station in her car and got nothing. Classic !!

Well, I unlock my doors with the little button as the car is coming to a stop. That solved that problem.

My music system is all in Japanese, so no one can work out how to fiddle with it.

If I have to move my seat, I just press the memory button to get it right back where it was before.

I don't have a seatbelt in the back middle, so no one sits there.

I can control window rights simply by using the little button designed for that purpose.

Any other problems I can solve for you tonight??

I can do an automatic door unlocking circuit as I've said before but nobody seems interested.
It could be wired to the passenger seat belt switch so the doors will only unlock when ignition is turned off if there is in fact a passenger.
It could be made to unlock each time the car stops without having to turn the ignition off. The factory system would then re-lock the doors once over 25kph.

Hmm...Mark, I would possibly be interested in that, to be honest. I'm assuming it wouldnt be overly difficult to wire in with sufficient instructions (considering I've previously wired in Jaycar DFA & IEBC you did up for me)??

I've alway thought of getting a US LHS door module (or whatever is needed) so the passenger door would unlock when you pull the handle the same as the drivers side. Anyone want to organise getting me one?

I took a girl out on a date a couple of months ago and picked her up in the Soarer. She got in and all she said was "Why don't you buy a newer car?".

We didn't have a second date.

Like that date for Castrol I think, where the guy kicks various hot girls out of his car for committing sins like putting gum on the ash tray, feet on the dashboard etc.
I did give a couple of girls a lift home the other night and gave it a bootful, one remarked "This is why I want a sports car!".

When you have a female passenger and they try to talk to you... not normally though, they have to sit upright and turn their entire body to face you, so you're driving and they're constantly looking at you.

I don't think I've ever been more annoyed... maybe I'm just a psychopath...

Paul, get a V8 with an EMV... I find it keeps female passengers too busy to talk to you much... especially if they can actually *partially* understand japanese.
