Do they do a kit for the soarer? I only saw jza-80 supra kit.
I personally think that anything is better than the stock set up if you are taking the motor beyond stock limits. If however, you are spending big dollars elsewhere on the motor then it would stand to reason to spend the cash on a proven product also.
Having said that someone always has to be first to prove the way and all the "BIG" companies were at some stage an unknown quantity. Another thread has Greddy kits for $799 at autobarn and they used to sell the same kit for about $2000.

A cheap FMIC will always be a cheap cooler, quality will always be better in the long run if you serious about performance and getting the charge temp much lower than a cheapie

I just had a look at that kit Aka! the reason why it's so cheep is the clamps are the screw type and there is no mounting brackets in the picture just ask questions before you buy it mate,This is what you get in the hybrid kit, take note of the mounting braces. http://www.powerdigger.com/homepage.htm
Mind you this kit from justjap looks good and may well be a steel for that price. As I spoke to you today, call me when you get it and I will help you fit it.

Worm drives arent too bad as long as teh pipes have mating lugs or lips rolled into them to secure the silicone. Unless your running mega boost (25+ p.s.i.) you might go to T bolt clamps.
I like the big gun Jap cars, with welded fasteners to secure the cooler pipes....guess its piece of mind at 40p.s.i.

I have this cooler kit. Pretty decent quality for the price. Obviously, you don't run like 1.2 bar or something on a cheap cooler, but up to 13psi (which is the most mine spikes to) it makes a noticeable improvement. If you hang on a few weeks I will post a dyno graph before and after?
One bad thing though, is the bastards stencil it when the send it. Not cool.

it's not just cooler size. it's the design as well. it not necessarily that the cooler would break anything at high boost, but these coolers probably won't flow well enough at high boost to bother.

I would much rather if i was was going to run high level's of boost stick with a HKS, or Gredy Cooler... but thats just me...
And i'm not going to be running high boost anyways, very happy to hover around the 200+kw mark... As long as i keep my car faster then Aka i'm a happy man... hehe
