Good to see Simon's Soarer claiming fourth there, might have done better with some racing wheels on there if my reading is right, but a great achievement none-the-less! |

Argh, I still haven't got my copy of the magazine yet! Thanks for the support 
Cars were limited to using the same tyres for the entire competition, so I went with street legal circuit tyres (Falken Azenis) which were affordable at the time. As noted in some other threads, I had major issues getting down the strip in a straight line... basically a 400m burnout, crossing the line at 200km/h sideways  Probably could have chopped 2 seconds off the ET if I had drag slicks instead of street tyres.
Extremely fun competition though... loved every minute of it
I'll have to read more of the article to see what else they said. |

Yep! Thanks to Simon I've purchased those same wheels as well.
Before that, I had always disliked chromies but the Zenetti's are just too good to pass!
P.S. Good work as usual Simon. Looking forward to seeing you come 1st next year! |
