Hey guys well I just embarked on a short drive, the soarer took it well. Other than a radiator in Sydney and then a rim in Kempsey but these can't be helped just lucky happened so early in the trip. Well anyways I went from Bandiana Victoria (Albury/Wodonga Area) To Newcastle stayed there till Sunday then I headed to the Gold Coast until Wednesday morning which was when I left and started the MAJOR leg of my trip. All except the last 200kms are on here I think or bloody close to it Anyways this will allow those who want to see what the soarer is like in different areas in highway driving and round town I can find out what was around town and what wasn't but should be easily seen. Just be aware I have a heavy foot around town as I love the sound of my 8 haha.
Also Until I hit the NT border i was sitting on around 110km/h up to 130km/h My average speed is about 105km/h over the distance covered. Average speed in the NT is 140km/h but the time wasn't stopped for fuel and food breaks.
It did go better than a mates AU Ute 6 banger. So I was happy and MOST of the time I had to run 95 Octane. Temps got up there some days as well. But even still not complaining I had just me BUT a boot full of bags, and a backseat with bags as well.
I had a descent load. Took me 3.5days to cover Gold Coast to Darwin. Would have been 3 but i stopped 250kms earlier than what i planned, she was running from 9 to 12hrs a day. For example we did 1200kms in 9hrs in the NT so we were moving.

Ah SH!T! I totally forgot you were coming through here Mark
Computer had a spasz attack so lost the emails, and just plain forgot, sorry dude. Would have been cool The speed limits here are rubbish now, but should go back to open limits when the current silly Government is voted out next year.
On the bright side, managed to take my girl out for a spin upto the limiter on New Years Eve. Good way to see out the year.
