Hi i'm trying to help out a guy over here in Canada that has a Soarer as well. His rear glass was smashed the other day and lexus is saying that the SC300 and SC400 glass doesn't accomodate a rear wiper?

I don't know if the rear wiper was ever an option on the North American version but i'm looking for the part number of the rear windscreen.

Thanks

Hey Scott,

If you can get me his FULL chassis number, paint code and trim code from off the under hood data plate, I will be able to give you the correct number.

Believe it or not, there are like, heaps of different part numbers listed, obviously different tints will have different numbers (that's a lot of differents!)

Just found out from Richard Johnson that the SC's never had the glass with wiper so my friend is up the creek.

Although I do know of a recent wreck that will be auctioning soon. So I'll tell him to give that a try.

Thanks for the effort Don.

Yeah, but ANY Toyota dealer WILL be able to source parts from Toyota Japan.

I'm a damn sight further away from Japan than you guys are, and my local Toyota dealer gets ANYTHING for an import no worries at all

Just a thought Scott.

Mind you, I spose he can just put an SC300/400 rear screen in, but it'd be a shame to loose the wiper option

Hrm good point Don. I'll mention it to him. I think he's trying to get the one from the wreck now but if that doesn't pan out then there's always this for an option.

Thanks.
