Ok I didn't post this in the mechanical because I know it's a stupid question and I embarassed
Ok regarding TT induction air I know there's always a problem with keeping the air cooled but I wanted to know why can't the air be artificially cooled (like using some sort of A/C)???
(disregarding the intercooler I'm just talking about the air going in through the airbox/pod)
Please go easy on me.
(also if anyone has any stupid questions this can be the thread for them )

There are a few water to air intercooler systems that can plumb the water lines through the a/c, which can in turn give you intake temps approaching zero degrees. The main reason why these are not so common is that they are insanely expensive to do right, and leave you with no air con unless you want to add in extra components that would up the cost even more, and drain more power from the motor.
For the same monetry outlay as doing that right (and that is the operative word, it can be done on the cheap, but that means on the dodge too!) you could get more power out of the traditional path of mods.

i also saw on TV a while ago some sort of Tear Drop shaped metal thingo that sat before your throttle body and it was freezing cold (thanks to some kinda gas) and apparently that cooled the air substantially...
but im unsure on what that would cost and i have to agree with Richard - you could probably spend your money better elsewhere.

they tried it in the latest f150 i think, worked decently well. Had to be built up and would only last for a certain amount of time, im guessing they added timing/boost along with it to make it actually do something.
I think the funniest thing is that it would really work like a video game 'turbo' button that only lasts x time and has to build back up.
