If you get pulled over by the cops, don't get out of your car, you're liable to get shot. If you're in texas, there's a little town in the top little bit called Borger, There you will find the best steaks in the world (probably). Vegas is the best. I haven't been to new york, but drove past it. I think the people are friendlier in the west. And depending what stuff you like there are some good stuff in san fran. Mainly to do with boats and stuff, and the Mythbusters are based in san fran.

| I'm not sure what plans I have for the west n east coast as yet, I know I've already booked a hummer tour in vegas to go out into the desert and 4wd a bit, a 3 to 4 hour tour coasts about $150 a person. I looked into actually hiring an exotic car in vegas and hummer was about $300 a day, or 3 days special for $680, tempting but not my thing. Hmmm wonder if you can rent a soarer heh. Maybe a nice Lamborghini GALLARDO for $1600 a day!

Chinatown for sure in Cali... You can spend just a weekend there. Also Las Vegas? Forget gambling... just eat the food.

Only been to LA and NY, and this was in 2001 prior to 9/11. NY was so cool. LA was dirty. Manhattan is very surreal - I remember going out at 3am in the morning mid week after arriving earlier that night and still having to push my way through the people crowding 5th avenue! Most of the food I had in the US was very bland, especially the meat, and they seem to deep fry pretty much everything. American Pretzels are gross. NY bagels are nice. Everything was expensive when I was there, but thats mostly because the NZ exchange rate was something like .44 cents. Not so bad now I guess. West coasters are generally more open, and you do get very good service there - East coasters are more reserved and take a while to get to know, but the people I met from the outer boroughs of NY are just wonderful. Tipping culture sucks. Even when the service sucks you still have to tip.

hahaha I'm referring to the restaraunts. I was just there last year and after tips everything gets pretty pricey. Minimum 60 dollars for two people for breakfast. But of course I was there on business so expense it away (true story)

Ain't that the truth! Way back, like yonks ago, a friend of mine spent 4 mths. in the USA, and he got the locals (Oklahoma) onto Steinlager's............talk about hilarious!.......they were off their scones after 3 cans HAHAHA!. And one night he came back to where he was staying, saying "F**k I'm pissed", and everybody got scared. What he mean't was "F**k, I'm drunk", but aparently the locals thought he mean't he was ULTRA angry..............and retreated accordingly.

Beer?? You can buy Fosters here at any gas station hahahahahaaha Want a coke, sprite, etc? Ask for Soda. Lemonade and ice tea is sold at all resturants. Gas is sold per Gallon (currently around $2.50) All interstate highways mark the exits by Mile Number they are at. All clubs are 18+ or 21+. We drive on the right lol Nobody is nice, dont expect strangers to lend you a hand for anything. The car scene here is huge, expect to find races, meets, etc any night of the week and most important.... Its winter in Jan... Summer in July
