Does any of the WA guys/gals have experience with this company? I have tried emailling them and no response. I need compliance and rego checking for our Soarer which will be shipped from Norfolk in June or July. We look like moving to Exmouth, so the car will need some time in Perth. |

G'day Mike,
Regan's email auto trashes spam email (he literally get's hundreds a day hence the auto trash), just went through them back to the 18th Feb and found some non spams that ended up there, but didn't see yours there mate. Regan remembers talking to someone on the phone from out your way, so maybe that was you?
Try emailing again, and they'll keep an eye out for it.
Better still phone, as the email is a little too busy if you know what i mean. |

I got my car complied by them and yeh they did a good job, i think they usually deal with V8s so not sure about the 2JZ |

There's not much compliance work to be done for Personal Import- I'd prefer someone that people on ALSC had had dealings with and who was recommended on account of that contact. |

They do NA Supras all the time so shouldnt have a problem with the jzz31's i would think.
But as Mike said, little work for personal ones i guess >.> |

DCI installed my Alarm and immobiser last year and were decent bunch of people to go too.

Thanks for the input, guys. I have had an email from Regan and hope to carry on from there. Our scenario is a little complicated in that the car will be landing in Perth and then has to be gotten up to Exmouth, and as well I need it prepared for rego in Perth, but I believe rego is done on a regional basis in WA. Exmouth registered cars would have a plate starting "EX-", for instance.
It would still be registered from Norfolk Island, actually, but our rego doesn't have CTP included (I get CTP-type coverage with my comprehensive insurance, which isn't valid off the island, unfortunately). I drove our Subaru on NI rego in 2002, but had to get a NSW "unregistered vehicle permit" (to get temp CTP coverage) to get it to Qld- and didn't I have fun at the Motor Registry explaining all that! |

Cant it be registered in Perth anyway? Or when you say regional basis, is it dependent on where your registered street address is? |
