Hi everyone, I head out next week and not expected to return until sometime in October. The soarer is about to go to a dealer to be sold on consignment, really couldn't be bothered going through selling her privately...and at least she will be at a specialist Jap import place so appealing to a more specific audience than on the internet. It has been terrific being a part of such a close bunch of soarer enthusiasts and the cruises have been fantastic. So now I have returned to my 'bogan' roots by driving a 1980 WB holden ute No power steering or aircon is good fun hahaha. But I do love the old fashioned rumble of an old V8 motor. The interior and stereo are going to get an upgrade while I am away and I am sure some minor engine mods will happen.....can't help myself Catch you all another day.

Gees fellas, thanks for all the lovely words! I will have internet access over there, so I will make a big effort to keep in touch..unfortunately it wont be as entertaining as my US trip...but I am there for a few days before I get to my final destination, so you never know Stu was trying to talk me into getting a toyota corolla or honda civic ("a near new nice little car" were his words) Nothing wrong with them, just not for me I am afraid. If the soarer was manual, the ute would have gone. Although I did have thoughts of a non turbo soarer...we'll see You guys rock!!!!!

Hello from the icy cold world of Annapolis, near Baltimore! It is freezing, and I am talking about scraping the ice off my hire car this morning as there was a snow/ice thing that happened yesterday...talk about cold! No Mustang this time, I ended up with an Infiniti M35, the luxury branch of Nissan. Push button start, leather interior, very flash. Don't know if it is a V6 or V8, but it has two sets of twin exhausts and is very quick to go fast It doesn't have the cum factor of the Mustang, but rather exciting to be in something so modern after driving my old tank...hahaha. SAw the movie 300 whilst here, absolutely recommended, brilliant movie. Anyway, I fly out later on today to my final destination. Hoo roo!
