Mate bare 3rd party isn't the best idea... what if someone does a hit-n-run on you and you can't catch the plates? Pretty much up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

INSURANCE - Same thing... imports hard to insure. - Rang the Insurance Industry Ombusdman they recommended some places. - Torque sold me full cover [full NCB] and agreed value on $12.5k for $665 per annum. Dont bother with Just Cars. Whether it was $12 - $30k the premium is the same.

my missus owns a soarer like mine 92TT and no insurance company will touch her. she has her opens is 21 and never had a accident or been naughty behind the wheels but they all say she is too much of a liability that they wont insure her at all! that's every where including Just Cars

I had the same trouble I have never had an accident or speeding ticket but i am 22 and a chick, I brought my car from my mum and she had it insured through Shannon's, but they won't insure me I think because it is a V8 and i am under 25, so the car is still registered and insured in my mums name with me as a driver that's the only way i could get around it.
Fully comp is the best too as my Soarer got side swiped by a drunken idiot out the front of the pub and he just took off! (But its all fixed now)

I have had accidents and my partner hasn't yet cause she drives a TT she cant get anyone to insure her just cars wanted almost 4000PA and Shannon's said that they would not insure her as her car was too powerful for a young woman to drive? figure that out?
