I know it's been mentioned heaps in the past, but it's disappointing to see the quality of the Soarers on ebay at the moment asking around the 7-8k mark. A real shame even though they are over 15 years old.

Just had a look at some sites using there car valuations, the 1991 tt are in the $9000-$12500 mark an also valued less than the v8's, get a bit more for them. The higher the year obviously the more it displays.

I just recently purchased my Soarer from a dealership so of course there is a markup. However it is getting harder to find Soarers in Perth these days. Especially later model ones. Most of the 91-92's seem to be going for around the 11-12K mark (both TT & V8). I can only see prices going up for them over here.

I got my Soarer for pretty much $7k.

Marks all over the front and rear bumpers, look hard enough you can see hail damage, dents in the bonnet, dents on the side guard, evidence of weird happenings from under the bonnet (discoloured paint on one guard from what looks like a turbo fire), missing radiator shroud, etc.

On the plus, it has a brand new motor, brand new rubbers, brand new suspension controls, pretty much everything mechanical from the windscreen forward is brand new.

Car drives like it was new, other than a slight squeak int he front to be fixed, and there are some trims on the inside that need some TLC.

Overall, I paid bugger all, and got an ordinary Soarer, but with a little work, and some help from my cousin with re-spraying and dent removal, we will have the entire car looking like almost new for less than $3k, which will mean overall, a 91 model TT for $10k, in what will be perfect condition.

At least my issues are only cosmetic.

shame for the seller... because theyre parting with a one of a kind car, and selling it for nothing.

well answer this,

how many 180's silvias 200sx's skylines evos and sti's do you see around?

theyre all over the place like the plague lol but you dont see as many soarers around, and finding one in immac condition is even more unlikely

How many cars in the $10k price range give you that wow feeling when you drive them? for 10k its like driving a merc with the power of a skyline.

you dont call that a one of a kind car?

You may be biased because you own one.

I see as many or more Soarers on the road than any of those cars you listed.

It's a middle aged car. Its price drops. Deal with it.

You must live in a town that really likes Soarers! I see far more of each of those other cars both before I got the Soarer and now. Actually maybe leave out the EVO's and swap STI for WRX.

More Soarers then S15s/S14s/WRXs/Skylines? I don't think so.. Not around this part of Sydney.

There are 11 registered Z30 chassi'd Soarer's in the NT.

The are 35 registered EC/H/E/EN/ECN R33 Skylines and 19 R32's and 13 R34's also. Doesnt include cars driving around with mexican plates.

We're shipping our '97 3.0 VVTi over as a Personal Import around July. We will probably sell the car within a year, as we're getting a novated lease 4wd and will have to do lots of kilometres on that to lessen FBT. Although I'll be nearly 40 kms from work, I'll also have a work ute (at least for the medium term) so the poor Soarer will become neglected!
