| Hello, A question for anyone who knows, are the rocker cover gaskets for the 2JZ compatible with the 1JZ? I've heard some conflicting information on this. Also 1JZ gaskets are hard to get a hold of over here but the 2JZ ones are easy to find. |

| Dunno about compatability (Don...?) but if push comes to shove, pm me and I'll get you a set and send them over. |

| Interesting that the heads are commonly swapped, but the gaskets are different??? Maybe the only difference is thickness? If the cost isn't nasty, maybe give the 2jz a fitting test and see how she goes, do compression tests when the heads are back on, make sure it holds compressing, and check the oil and water after a nice 10km drive. | Brian, we are talking about rocker (ie cam) cover gaskets mate, not head gaskets. |
