i was bored at work today so i was just looking through the production history of soarer v8, i found this on the last line of the production table and i dont know what it is!!! anyone know?

George, Not sure if there are any differences between the 8/96 onward original serial number series UZZ31s and the 100000+ series. Happy to put my #1000013 alongside a 8/96 - 5/97 for experts to check, if no one can shed any light. Recall a UK site had a very good explanation of the incremental model changes. Cheers

There were differences, 1997 UZZ31's had different silicone filled front lower control arm bushes. There were many other changes to everything from rear spoiler shapes to the EMV.

hey Roger, are you talking about the 97 model vs the 91-95?
Anyway... so there is another 49 special UZZ31 made in 1997!!!!!!!! anyone with answers

What it means is if you own a 1997 model you have a collectors edition ....... the last of a classic design before they went boat shaped. See http://www.lexusclub.co.uk/prodhist.htm
