i was just out one day at work and i found that my boot lid wasn't closing properly. it doesn't even close.the lock mechanisim doesnt hold onto the latch thing on the top of the boot lid. so my boot has been dancing around while im driving. i've checked theres nothing jamming the lock area. checked that the key lock in rear boot area isn't jammed. i also checked the boot release button under the dash isn't jammed either.. i think i need to replace the boot lock... any i deas?something must of happend. i need help quick!!! thanks in advance

i think i may have actually figured out the problem. i took the boot locking mechanisim apart and saw that the U-Bolt attached to tthe boot lid isnt actually making contact with the boot latch. i just added more length to the U-bolt and now i think as a temp fix she shuts! mabe need to replace the boot lock. any got one spare?
