Guys, I am getting the low brake fluid warning light once/twice everyday on cold braking (91 v8). The fluid is a bit low,I reckon due to waering of pads.Is it ok if I fill up with a DOT 4 fluid (although it recommends DOT 3 on the cap)? I am not sure which type fluid its already filled up with.Cheers!

Dot 4 is better than Dot 3, and yes, get a few bottles of DOT 4, and flush it through starting at passenger rear wheel, then driver's side rear, followed by passenger front, then driver's side front wheel.
Flush them all until clean clear looking fluid comes through, and you will love the more efficient braking and stronger feel to the pedal.
Also, with hard braking you wont get pedal fade quite as fast.
Do be aware brake fluid eats paintwork for breakfast, lunch and usually dinner as well, so DONT GET IT ON THE PAINT!!!!
