I just pulled off the lower back interior quarter panel bit before to look at the seatbelt setup and now all of a sudden i am getting the 'Door Open' dash warning even though both doors are firmly shut!

Where abouts is the sensor for this? As i assume i may have disturbed it somehow.

As far as I know, the sensor is in the door lock itself

Hmm i wonder what else could cause it? An alarm wire maybe?

sensor is inbuilt to the latch mechanisim same as the boot.

I went for a drive before and it seems to be intermitent i.e. sometimes it will show up then disappear again.

Might just see how it goes for the moment, hopefully it will disappear all together haha
