Hey guys, I currently own an R33 Skyline and im in the market for a Soarer. I have found one I like on carsales but not knowing that much about the valuation of them was wondering what you thought of this one?
Done 155,000k's Twin Turbo 1994 Toyota Soarer (Lexus badged) - Resprayed Black with Gold Pearl done 3yrs ago still looks like new. - 1JZ TT - 20' Zenetti Kaotics with new rubber - KKR frontmount intercooler - HKS B.O.V - x3 K - Spec Gauges Oil Temp, Pressure, Boost - Turbo Back Exhaust (new) - Blitz Air Filter - Strut Brace - Apexi Springs - Full Custom Bodykit - 7.5' touch screen clarion DVD player - Kicker splits front and rear - 12' SD alpine sub with JBL1500W amp - Isotta steering wheel with crusie control still fitted. - Leather has just been redone.
Car got dynoed on standard boost 0.8Bar and produced 217rwkw so with more boost should see anywhere between 230 - 240 no problem
Its quite a nice looking car The guy is look for $20,000 It does not come with a Road Worthy Certificate. Would I be need one of these for NSW?? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

Very clean car... not a fan of the front bar. You know what they say..."a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it." I guess its more of an appretiation value now. Sweet rims, BTW.

I agree with adrian.I pay'd 18k for my 94 two years ago. With the work that has been done on it,is not to bad for the price. The hole point is,If you like it and will be happy with the price then go for it! Just make sure you get it looked at before you commit to the sale.Hate to see you spend 20k and it's a dud.
Other than that it looks very clean and most of the work has been done to it,It's all up to you mate. Also has it got rego or is it almost out of date?

Hi Jamie. Yes I too agree with Jeff,Mike, Adrian, Matt and Dave. Yes it is a really nice car, yes it has all the bells and whistles, and yes if you were to do the same to it, it would more than definately cost more. And you can see that the current owner loves the car, otherwise it would not look that good. Get an inspection done on it by someone that knows what they are looking for in a Soarer. Some say NRMA, but I wouldn't get them to do it through my own reasons. Get someone else. I've never had the pleasure of dealing with Niall Bond at Botany, but I've heard he is the man. If you are serious about the car, call him on 0296666364 or 0415866014. He may be able to do it for you or steer you in the direction of someone that can be trusted. See if the dude is willing to haggle, don't just throw 20K in their direction. Make an offer and see what happens. As for the road worthy, I'm not certain if a car in NSW needs to be sold with one, I don't think so. If you buy a car from a "reputable" second hand car yard, they give you a roadworthy, but funny how it always passed, yet it always needs to be repaired later!!! So the roadworthy you're talking about is just a pink slip, and you don't need one to get it transferred into your name in NSW. If the car is out of rego however, and has been for more than 3months, it will need to be Blue slipped, another form of roadworthy to get rego on it. A pink slip for less than 3months. A pink slip is around $25 and a blue slip is around the $50 mark (don't quote me, just rough guesses!!) Good luck dude

i Second that!
Yea thats what I was also wondering?? Is that even possible to get that amount of kw's from whats been done?

220rwhp would be done easily on 11psi. Might seem like a low reading, but if it was dynoed in 2nd gear ( as most workshops do cause they dont know how to do it in 3rd without kicking back.../shrug) then i guess it would be spot on.
