| I noticed the 'armrest' is integrated into the seat. I wonder what it looks like from the inside? My guess is it would be pretty flat and plain. Pretty awesome engineering though, and you could make the thicker floor-pan and sill look 'fully sik' if you pumped it out a bit. If only we could make every inconsiderate driver get this bit of kit - no more door dings. |

This happen in most of the sydney carparks already!! Thanks to incredibly lazy individuals. The disappearing door is a fantastic idea. We all need them on our soarers, but in reality the rest of the driving community needs them more, as we are all too careful NOT to hit other peoples cars when we open our ever so huge doors and ease our way out of the vehicle! |

| I think you are being a bit harsh Steven... Sure its not conventional at the moment, nor does it appear to be that economical, however i am sure you will probably see at least one crazy car design in the future with doors designed from a similar concept or idea. Evolution occurs from people having wacky ideas like this one, not from people thinking how silly the ideas are. |

Hang on a sec here, we are not talking about the car its self, we are talking about the technology that goes into the car, and I agree with you when we are talking about designing/production the car its self. when I made this comment;
Steven Nanevski wrote on Monday, December 31, 2007 - 01:38 am: More than likely you stole/took the idea's off the Europeans or Japanese anyway
I was talking about the technology that goes into cars. Just look at Merc or BMW, they had airbags in their cars fitted in the 80's, how long did it take the rest of the world to catch up??? I think to take as an example Holden, they fitted the first airbag in thir cars on the VS or VT range?? a good 10 years later at least?? So come on, you cant expect that the Americans can compete with the technology that the Europeans or Japanese put out these days on their vehicles?? I think not...

Not to worry. I am sure there are examples where the Americans did not invent an automotive technology, as if that were relevant. |

Ok Trivia time, time to get some facts right here now you old cogger about the air bag for example, 1953 - German Walter Linderer and the American John W. Hedrik submitted entries about designing an airbag for the car 1967 - Mercedez Benz began developing the airbag for use in cars 1973 - The Oldsmobile Toronado became the first car with a passenger airbag; 1974 - Their was a despute that airbags were now killing more people than they were saving. Also Mercedez Benz was given the Safety Award by the American Department of Transportation for there role in the introduction of the airbag. Meredez Benz began production of the airbag for passenger vehicles as well. Mid 1980's - Ford introduce airbags in their vehicles Oh bother, I will get you some klennex you wipe all the 5hit that came out of your mouth you bigoted twat.... Anyway, I have had enough, nothing more here to prove or say so do what you want, feel, need to say to make you feel better again, I don't care now. Also I will say I do not like the design at all, as I stated in some previous posts. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I pissed people off and so what, not everyone agrees with everything. You think it's a good idea, I think it's 5hit, that's it full stop. So no need to take other peoples opinions to heart as some of us have here, disagree with them and move on, and no need to get personal as well. So a happy new year to you all as well

I will agree though, if you are after decent performance then an OHC setup is better, however sometimes you just want more cubes for less space =P |
