Hi Guys

I had a RWC (qld) done for my soarer, just wanted to see what you guys think in regards to getting failed for a cat converter that rattles (changed cat converter 20,000km ago), and discoloured head lamps (nothing a clean cannot fix), do you think its abit over the top that it failed because of those 2?

Cheers

personally i think they should have failed you.

Lasw are laws, but the original cat you got must have been dodgy. replace it with somehing a little better.

As for headlamp, just polish them up and they should be ok.

well if my cat was stuffed, shouldn't i be able hear it rattle? and wouldn't there be issues with the exhaust flow? and wouldn't i have power issues as well poor fuel economy?

It may be "stuffed" from an emissions point of view. They are quite a consumable item you know...

Just put a new one on =P
