Just something to note, I am not calling the driver a wanker, or an oxygen waster, I am not having a go at him at all, just saying you need to start somewhere, and trying to drive it like the pro's before you can get the simple corner downpat is just insane. Top marks for taking it to the track, but a Soarer is not a drifting car, it's just to heavy for this sort of driving, and it's sad to see the end result as well. I was laughing so hard I was in tears until the point where the car impacted. B.

Unfortunately same skirts, spoilerless, blue interior, same rims, no rear lip. I don't think there's any doubt about it that is Jesse. I believe someone even says 'are you alright jesse?' on the video. Not good to see.

No insurance cover on the track too - so its a dead loss for him, other than what he can get for parts - unless he decides to rebuild it, but it looks pretty far gone to me.

Matthew, Most insurance companies will not cover track work BUT some will for an extra fee. When I was doing a lot of track days and practicing drifting at the track, I had a premium for under 25, premium for import/turbocharged/sports vehicle, and a premium for track claims as well. B.

Wow, I was given a flat "no, we don't cover that" from several companies, even for classic car track days where everyone is very laid back (well, most of the time) - mind you thats over ten years ago - maybe someone saw an opportunity to make some money. How much was the premium?

Track day cover: $90 in the glove box. In case of smash, pay tow truck driver $90 to tow you up the street.

I've smashed my motorcycle up on the track, attempting to take a hairpin at about 90. The damage to the bike was nowhere near as bad as the damage to my pride, so I feel for the poor bugger. We all start somewhere.

I have seen the video Joe posted a few times, that's just fkn stupid, and the idiot deserves what is coming to him and any damages he has done himself, what a clown!!! The first guy was using the wrong car, wrong equipment, but at least was friggin smart enough to use the right place to give the car something, and try drifting, and if the guy is from these forums and is in NSW I am happy to provide some of my time in heloing the poor guy get the beast back on the roads. As for the 2nd video, he's done something frigging stupid on a public road, and it's a pity the clown still has a licence to drive. B.

I think its a WA plate. If the person who filmed it had half a brain he wouldn't of started footage directly behind the car exposing the license plate.
