hey guys, got my shift kit yesterday, couldn't be happier, shifts very hard, chirps gear changes great huge difference from stock,
hopefully the rain stops soon so i can take it out, also i will be upping the boost for the night, to around 14psi, will it be safe to run on this boost daily?

Not the wrong topic mate (it's your thread)but most things have been cover'd,Search is your friend and will answer most of your questions.
No drama with the boost to 14psi,But! Some soarers hit boost cut around there. You better take it for a run down the freeway and see if it hits boost cut,It will feel like you hit something(it's very harsh). If you do hit boost cut, just back the psi off a little. Are you using an electronic boost controller(EBC) or Manual boost controller(MBC)? Manual's spike and make it hard to get it right.
Running 14psi all the time there is no problem.Creep up to 15psi on a stock ECU will hit boost cut,To fix this get yourself a Fuel cut defender (FCD) so you can eliminate boost cut.The turbo's will run all day at 14-15psi without a problem and for short burst's there has been some members running up to 18psi but not recommended as the stock ceramic turbine's tend too shatter,So do this at your own risk.

Your going to love 14psi and with the shift kit,You might sh1t yourself on the first run....Hahaha
14psi is a nice jump from 11psi. Just incase! You take it for a run and you get a miss fire,Like most of use have gone through.Check your coil packs as they may need replacing. This is only an issue when you raise the boost level and also these cars are 13+ years old so expect things like this to rear it's ugly head,Don't thrown though as this forum has all the info to fix your problem's.
You havn't told your skyline mate you have changed the cars performance yet? Hahaha......He won't know what hit him.....Hahaha

I'm jealous, with the winters we have here the local track is only open for 5 months or so.
The best I managed last year was a lot of 14.1's but this year I've got 6 psi more boost, real traction, and later in the summer a FMIC and adjustable exhaust camgear. I'm dying waiting to get out there.

nicely done shannon. 14.4 should have been equal or faster than his skyline. and the fact you ran std boost and your 19's means you have a bit more go in her yet... why was the skyline unable to make it he didnt crash i hope.. everyone lately with skylines seem to be crashing them..
