What use is it as a cop car... Being an SC300/400 the thing is too slow to chase anything down.

Maurice, it's not about being fast, it's about 'looking fast'.

Sure, the thing is too heavy to actually perform in a pursuit, but it's all about image.

Same with the Lamborghini in Italy, sure it's fast but it's still NEVER been in a pursuit, because it's image is enough for people to stop.

Besides that, I am sure it's fitted with Comms gear, can starts to take off, he/she radio's numberplate and location and either another cop car comes to help, or they go for a drive to car's place of residence and wait for it to come home.
