Just wondering if anyone knows the colour code for colour name "wine red mica " and also a photo of a soarer with it ? It was only released in the last few years of production and was extremely rare. Im trying to order a Soarer from japan in that colour but the agent has never heard of it. Thanks

Found one! Managed to find one on Goo net and got Japan auto Direct to purchase it for me. Even though this company exports heaps of Soarers every year they have never come across one this colour. Its a 1999 model VVTI. Cant wait.

Wow a 1999 VVT-i .. you'd have one of the latest if not the latest model soarer on this forum and in a nice colour too. Can't wait to see it myself Any idea on how long the whole import process will take for the car to land here?

Very nice colour- similar to our Rexton's "Deep Wine" but a tad lighter, and better. Ours tends to look purple, brown or even black depending on the light.
Interesting to note that the newer white is both pearl and mica (057). I wonder if the later Prados and Cruisers have this same colour as it looks "deeper" than our pearl white (051).

There is a bit of a story attached to this car .I dont know if anyone can remember but I purchased a Soarer exactly the same colour and model for my dad back in 2002 which means the car was only 3 years old and had a genuine 7,500 km on the clock when it arrived in Australia. Even though it cost a fortune my dad was the happiest car owner in the world and he always said ( and still does ) that he has never driven a better car in his life( which was surprising coming from him because he worked at Holdens for 35 years and we always had a new top of the range Holden every 6 months ). After driving it for a year an associate offered him a price he could not refuse for his beloved Soarer and hesitantly sold it .Since then every time I go to visit my folks I am always asked to find him another one which i have finally achieved .The car should be in Australia in about 3 weeks . The colour is very rare and in my opinion one of the best in the Soarer range . I think they even carried this colour over to the new SC430 model.I will put some photos up in the next few days .
