Both of my seat belts wont retract and dont provide any safety at all. They just stay loose and wont retract.

What should I do to fix them?

Or should I just buy new seat belts?

I would buy new seat belts!

I'm not sure if you can fix seat belts

buy new ones, but you may find drivers side is only available in black.

I went through the hassle of having mine re-webbed after being promised much better retraction only to have them returned with perhaps zero improvement. I got to keep the grey plastic surround, the grey arm and a new belt but was left unimpressed with both customer service and lack of promised results.

Which company did you use Mark?

You can buy Soarer belts from Toyota or aftermarket manufacturers Peter.

just buy some second hand ones and install em yourself, its not that hard.

Should be plenty of sets getting around with all the wrecking of soarers going on, i reckon they would even post to you in ALBERTA !

Kyle, I actually used a company in Perth, believe it or not. I feel so dumb for having done so. I can't recall their name at the moment but they were recommended here on SC. I have the receipt but it's in a box that's en route from Wellington.
