I think I may have missed something. Can anyone update me on the whole soarer central/alsc rift in 50 words or less? are most members here a member of both? is alsc still fairly active?

ALSC forum crashed.
Soarercentral spiritually took over.
There was a clash between those who maintained Soarercentral.
ALSC forum recreated.

Don't worry about the political side of things, you honestly didn't miss out on anything which you need to know.

I kinda gave up on ALSC after wading through day after day of Roo postings. Just wasn't funny any more.

Yeah i think the major downfall of ALSC is the lack of catagories within catergories. if that makes sense.

If you click TT-mechanical for example it's just a pile of everything associated with it.

rather than seperating them like

Instake & exhaust etc, etc.

Gary if you asked Reepa or Rob I'm sure they would accomodate your requirements. Looking at the software, it appears that sub categories are very simple to create.

Apparently both Rob and Reepa have been banned from Soarer Central/

I've also seen Rob on V8 Lexus, Supra forums, and the SMOG forum in Melbourne. Not sure what happened here, as from my understanding Rob started the Soarer movement in Australia creating the Lexus Owners Register which was name changed to ALSC years and years ago.

I'm just a new kid on the block but have been reading these forums for some years now. Seems a shame that someone like Rob with such long history and knowledge of the Soarers would be banned from here. Must have been something pretty serious!
