Hey guys, As much as I love My Soarer, the time has come that I need to sell it. My wife and I are about to get a mortgage for a house and well....every penny counts. Here in the Bahamas now I have to pay $100.00 from empty to full and this is really too much right now for me to be spending weekly. So therefore I am wondering what you guys would sell a 1991 TT, Automatic, Pearl White, 17" Chrome Wheels. I am right now in the process of refurbishing my interior because the previous owner had it as a project car so the interior wasn't in top shape. I am just rebuilding the panels and rewrapping them myself. I am just going to buy the spray to paint the dash black. It is fully stock. There hasn't been any aftermarket upgrades made at all, exterior or engine. 110,000 km on the dash. Once you all give me a fair price I would then be able to add what our customs duty and tax would be on that price. Thanks

Do you mean you want to sell it to people in Australia?
If so I wouldn’t bother as it would not be worth it. A stock early model TT in average condition will go for $6-8k here and a mint example around $10k.
Shipping, compliance, taxes, duty, registration and on-road costs would probably add up around $6k, so that would only make the car worth $1-2k.
Even then its at the same price as local cars which you could just go out and buy today, instead of stuffing around with importers, compliance shops, road authorities etc

I think Kyle is on the money here in Australia which I don't think has much bearing on what you may be able to sell for in your part of the world. I am also not clear on your questions about taxes etc.

I cant imagine there being a whole lot of these cars in the bahamas. Chuck some Lexus badges on there, jack the price up a bit and some slapper will buy it

i like your thinking.
I was not asking a price to sell to you guys in australia. I was saying on an average what would be a fair price. i like the lexus badge idea though. i really think I will do that.
