Bet your mates with the jap bikes dont invite you out to ride to often hehe
OH the shame.. sadly its true. But i do make an effort to bring it along if they are going out for a ride / coffee anywhere (without mountains). I just meet them at coffee and reverse it in with all their R1s, ZX-10s, Gixxers etc... oh and revving it just for the wank of it also haha.
All for a laugh. I think the big bikes are calling me again but i really do love the ease of this thing.

having owned a silly amount of bikes and scooters i an honestly say scooters are much more fun than bikes
in the last 12 months my 1800cc bike (reasonably fast) has done 1350km yet i've done almost 15,000km on my scoots...
the best thing is you can ride them 10/10ths everywhere have a blast and not worry about your licence, the bike i can hold @ wot for 3.5seconds and exceed the fwy limit, not so fun, cant get that thrill without going warp speed

heheh yeh it is true, i had grinded my centre stand a couple of times when getting low into corners
I really should not get soo carried away with it as one day it may cause the girl to slide out on me (which would obviously suck balls very badly)
Got a service booked for tomorrow so will be interesting to hear the report back. I dare say it may be getting time for a new Belt in the transmission (will upgrade to a Kevlar item). Brakes are still good and i reckon i have another 3000KM from the front tyre to go.

My lil Scoot has just clicked over to 20,000KM ! He is still going strong and I have only had one issue with it to date.
My drive belt was not replaced when it was supposed to be (thanks dealers) so it broke and caused a little damage to my Torque Converter/Driver. So I had to replace that, SYM wanted $370 for the whole assembly, I told them to stick it and bought just the part I needed online for a third of price!
Anyway, its still going well and I have recently replaced some flickering LEDs with some LED Rings and a flexible strip from Ebay. So I have officially pimped my scooter hahah.

Hi Warren,
All that info is in the start of the thread. Ive seen some CHEAP 2nd hand scoots getting around lately (actually all the time).
SYM (my brand) has released a VS150 now which obviously has a slightly larger capacity engine than mine (125cc), I am yet to ride one of those but if I buy another when this one dies it will prob be a VS150. Then I would put heavier rollers in it, a slightly taller rear tyre and that would give me a good top speed for the freeway (110km/hr??)
