The guys said earlier in the thread they would be leaving Frankston way by 10am, that would put them on my doorstep within 35mins, so 11am would be a safe bet. |

Dear god... I JUST got a new job (literally 5 mins ago) so I may have to freaking work... He does work Saturdays occasionally but I don't know if it will be this weekend, I can't really say "So... any chance of getting Saturday off?" within my first bloody week of employment lol, I'll have to play it by ear and see what his plans are and suss it out.
I can't believe I am doing this, really sorry guys, lets hope it's a quiet week and it doesn't happen, I will let you know as soon as I can.
It can't be changed to Sunday can it? Because you guys have re-arranged work and what not haven't you? Sorry again. I will let you know as soon as I know. |

Yep, i got saturday off and can't really get sunday.
Do you know if you have to work this sat Maurice? Can we leave it tentatively until you know for sure?

That's cool Alex, in my mind it's still set for Saturday, I will be trying my hardest to make sure I make this happen for you guys, I'll bring it up in conversation tomorrow and will let you guys know on Friday. Sorry I can't be more specific than this but it's a tough spot to tell my new employer how it is after 1 day so far of employment lol.

I've got a meeting in the morning at 8am, then buying a height controller in Montrose after that so i'll come straight from there.

I agree, thanks to Maurice for all of your help and nice to meet everyone else.
I've noticed a nice difference so far, gonna box it all in tomorrow to finish it off.
Installed the height controller aswell with no trouble so all in all it's been a pretty productive weekend.

pretty much, the side cover where the controller is was a bit fiddly to get back on but the rest was sweet.
Looks awesome when it's dumped, i'll post a pic tomorrow.
I'm lovin' the sound as well, i'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. |

Good to see all a few Soarers around yesterday, thanks for hosting Morgs.
I took the cannons off and put the mufflers back on, and I can hear the induction now! I'll box it in when i get time, say november? haha- love to see how you guys go about it.
Mine's running really well, but i think i might take the chow-man's advise and go for a piggyback ecu and tune it up. |

Well, i boxed it all in today and went about it pretty dodgy.
Didn't do the top plate and without the piping from the bottom of the bumper it hasn't really changed a thing.
I can't remember where Morgs told me to go for the pipe so left it out for today.
Did however go to Bunnings and get two 50mm wide bits of flex tubing and installed them but will be removing them tomorrow as they're ••••••
Will post some pics tomorrow so you can all have a laugh. |

wouldn't that be restrictive though with all of the grooves in the flex piping?
What width is your pipe? I'll have a look in Autobahn tomorrow.
Anyways, here's the pic of the intake.
I used heat resistant semi-hard rubber from Clark Rubber for the inner side, and some thick foam for the other side.
Pretty shabby, but hopefully it's doing some good?
I think i need to see what someone else's done with the top plate before i attack it... |
