I had a desire this evening to make up a short video in tribute to the Toyota Soarer using a fantastic song by Goldfrapp in the background, featuring some pictures I had taken of my Soarers over the years and a couple of video's all tied together in about a minute and a half
Took an hour or so to get it just right, which isn't too bad. I'm quite happy with it, but the program I'm using has its limitations to what I could do effects wise.
Anyway, here it is. Tell me what you think!

Hmmm after saying that I see what you mean! a few bits look a bit like a car advert... but obviously the 'burnout' scene is not quite what a car advert would have so I would cut that out.

Haha I thought someone would mention that, but I specifically based it on the V8 as it's kinda special to the Soarer... not any V8 coupes like it from Japan that I know of!

i think it could be an ad as well, instead of the burn out and 400m run get some footage of you cursing the car, would be perfect then.

Yeah this was really just a trial to see what could be done, when I make another I'll make it more like an advert, I'll have my much needed HDV camera hopefully by then so it will be in decent quality and edited on Avid which is a very good program.

That won't be happening now, I can say it for the last time. The only way I will not have this Soarer is if some fool crashes into me or it gets stolen!
Unfortunately I still have my 3.0GT though, looking forward to seeing that gone - even though its a nice car... V8 > I6

I could do if I got the right pictures/Video's, it would also need a more exciting paced sound track to go along with the TT's more sporty abilities over the slower V8!
Even still, I was quite happy with how this turned out, took just over an hour to do and I was limited to whatever I had on my computer so it would be amazing what I could do if I spend more time on something like this.

Ahh! Yes, that one was off the rails.... Worst Lexus advert I think I've seen!
My favorite one is the Hybrid Lexus RX400h speeding along where it gets broken down into multiple parts then goes back together again. Simply awesome bit of Camera work, animation and editing!
